41st session of the World Heritage Committee

The 41st session of the World Heritage Committee will take place at the International Congress Center of Krakow between the 2nd and 12th of July.  The working documents are available on the World Heritage Center’s website.

All Committee sessions are available in streaming on the official website.

As an Advisory Body, ICOMOS provides the World Heritage Committee with evaluations of cultural and mixed properties proposed for inscription on UNESCO's World Heritage List. This year, the World Heritage Committee will assess the nomination of 34 sites for inscription on the List.

ICOMOS has organised several Side Events during the Session, including "Localizing the UN Sustainable Development Goals for the World's Cultural and Natural Heritage", "Guidance on Post Trauma Recovery and Reconstruction for World Heritage Cultural Properties", "World Heritage and Human Rights: Global Recommendations and Next Steps?" and "Frontiers of the Roman Empire Thematic Study and Nomination Strategy".
