Jobs and internships

Job offers

The International Secretariat has a limited number of staff. Acceptance to a specific office occurs on a need basis. However, if you still want to send your CV and cover letter, we examine them and file them in order to eventually use them.

Internships

The Secretariat does not hold a specific programme for trainees but does periodically accept students as unpaid trainees, especially at our UNESCO-ICOMOS Documentation Centre. If you wish to apply for a traineeship at ICOMOS, we suggest that you send your CV and a cover letter indicating between which dates you are available. For this purpose, please, send your CV and cover letter by e-mail to secretariat[at]icomos.org
For any questions, please e-mail us at secretariat[at]icomos.org
Please note however that, due to the high number of applications we receive, we will not contact you unless you are to be called for an interview or offered a position.

ICOMOS International is rarely involved in organizing restoration projects, but you can contact your countries National Committee that may give you addresses of companies and institutions likely to do so.

In addition, some special programmes operate in co-operation with US/ICOMOS for young professionals. Consult the US/ICOMOS web-page : http://www.usicomos.org/
