Cultural Heritage at COP22
At the UN Climate Change Conference (COP22) in Marrakech from 7-18 November 2016, US/ICOMOS and ICOMOS Morocco will participate as co-hosts of two official side events on key issues of cultural heritage.

At the UN Climate Change Conference (COP23) in Bonn, Germany from 6-17 November 2017, ICOMOS is participating in four events on key issues of cultural heritage.
On 3 and 4 February 2020, ICOMOS participated to the Symposium on Water and Culture which took place in Tokyo, Japan, as well as a day of workshops aimed at better understanding the relationships between people and water.
The session "WATER AND HERITAGE, traditional knowledge for the future"is our contribution to the World Water Week 2019 in Stockholm.

Les 3 et 4 février 2020, l'ICOMOS a participé au Symposium sur l'Eau et la Culture qui s'est déroulé à Tokyo, ainsi qu'à une journée d'ateliers destinée à mieux comprendre les relations entre les gens et l'eau.
La proposition d'un Comité scientifique international (CSI) sur l'eau et le patrimoine a été présentée à l'Assemblée générale de 2017 à Delhi où le Conseil administratif de l'ICOMOS a approuvé la formation d'un groupe de travail probatoire pour étudier la création d'un CSI, en accord avec les Principes Eger Xi’an pour les Comités scientifiques internationaux de l'ICOMOS.

In these times of climate change, it intended to highlight the importance of water management for the preservation of cultural and natural heritage under climate change
Le 4 décembre, au secrétariat international de l'ICOMOS, ICOMOS Netherlands a organisé une table ronde sur l'eau et le patrimoine culturel. Elle se proposait de souligner l'importance de la gestion de l'eau dans la préservation des patrimoines naturel et culturel soumis au changement climatique et d'aborder la pertinence du patrimoine culturel lié à l'eau pour faire face à l'impact du changement climatique.
The proposal for an International Scientific Committee (ISC) on Water and Heritage was presented at the 2017 General Assembly in Delhi where the Board of ICOMOS approved the formation of a probationary task force to investigate the formation of an ISC, in accordance with the Eger Xi’an Principles for the International Scientific Committees of ICOMOS.
