Save the date: discover the program of the 2022 ICOMOS statutory hybrid meetings in Thailand

Wat PhoThis year, the ICOMOS Annual General Assembly, Extraordinary General Assembly, the Advisory Committee meetings and the Scientific Symposium will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from 25 to 30 October 2022, on the generous invitation of ICOMOS Thailand. The meetings will take place in hybrid format (ie. in-situ and online in part).

Download the provisional general programme (last updated on 13/07/2022) – registration and logistical information will be made available shortly. 

 


The ICOMOS Annual and Extraordinary General Assemblies will take place in-situ and online on 28 October 2022. The technical opening of the Extraordinary General Assembly will take 24h before, on 27 October, to ascertain the quorum, and the meeting will reconvene on the next day. All members shall have the right to attend both General Assemblies and may be designated to be a voting member within the conditions set out in Articles 9-a and 13-d-4 of the ICOMOS Statutes.

Meetings of the Advisory Committee (Scientific Council, National Committees and Advisory Committee) will take place from on 27 and 28 October - agendas and working documents will be published in due time.

The Scientific Symposium theme is "Religious Heritage: Celebrating and conserving places of religious and ritual significance in a global world and in changing climates" - you will find more information on the Symposium here. The Symposium will take place on 29 and 30 October.

Remote participation at the meetings will be possible online. More information will be available soon.
