Call for presentations: "Living the Cultural Routes"

Cultural Routes CIIC Call Scientific meetingThe International Scientific Committee on Cultural Routes (CIIC) of ICOMOS, will hold its Scientific Meeting from February 10 to 17, 2020, with the theme "Living the Cultural Routes" which will take place in the city of Chihuahua, Mexico.

On the occasion of the 25 years anniversary of the creation of the Committee, CIIC organizes this meeting to bring awareness on the topic of cultural routes to all ICOMOS members.

The meeting will explore the following themes: 

  • Interpretation, conservation and revaluation of Cultural Routes
  • Cultural Routes and Territory
  • The shared heritage in the Cultural Routes
  • Historic Roads 

CIIC is looking for presentations and posters (in English, Spanish or French). If you are interested in this call, send a presentation summary at: encuentrociic2020[at] If your presentation is selected you will be notified of which mode of presentation you should participate with.

Extended Deadline for the presentations is September 1, 2019.
