Rights-based approaches training in Estonia 01-06/05/2019

 DTN2855The Heritage and Rights training course, held in June 2019 in Estonia, focused on the empowerment of local communities and cooperation between state, community and individuals in the governance of heritage.

The training was conducted by Stener Ekern from University of Oslo Institute of Human Rights and Peter Bille Larsen from University of Geneva. The training hosted by ICOMOS Estonia with participants from ICOMOS Ireland, Sweden, Latvia and Russia enabled public lectures and discussions for relevant Estonian authorities, local societies and communities, as well the students of Estonian Academy of Arts.
