ICOMOS France hosted the meeting of the European National Committees presidents in Strasbourg. The meeting gathered presidents and representatives of the national committees. Among other issues the meeting explored common activities and opportunities on a European level.

Workshop – “Co-operation of ICOMOS NCs of East and Central European Countries on Management of World Heritage Properties”

Following the meeting organized by ICOMOS Poland and supported by the IIS on 05 December 2013 in Warsaw, ICOMOS Georgia and its partners (ICOMOS Armenia and “Arkhitektura I Prestize") will conduct a workshop on 23/24 January 2014 in Tbilisi.

This workshop is organised within the "Regional Co-operation for Cultural Heritage Development" project; implemented within the Eastern Partnership Culture Programme.

Heritage First Conference 6-8 March 2014

Mr Mouton, Vice-President of ICOMOS Europe, participated in the Heritage First conference in Greece, alongside with ICOMOS Greece. The conference makes an appeal for a common approach for sustainable heritage in particular in the urban environment . The conference brought together important heritage stakeholders from the European Commission, the Parliament, the Council of Europe, NGOs but as well from  UNESCO, represented in the person of Mr R. Kishore, Director of the World Heritage Centre.
