International Charter and Guidance on Sites with Intangible Cultural Heritage, prepared by the ICOMOS International Scientific Committee on Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICICH)
Dear Colleagues
As you are aware, the International Committee on Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICICH) has for some time been working on a charter and guidance covering the work of ICOMOS members on sites with intangible cultural heritage. That task has recently concluded with two rounds of consultation of ICOMOS members and Committees. In November, the Charter and Guidance will be considered for adoption by the Annual General Assembly.
In item 6-1 of the working documents, please find:
- The final parallel versions of the Charter and Guidance - English/French and English/Spanish;
- An English version showing changes made in response to comments on the most recent draft;
- A comment tracker with responses to comments; and
- A report on the process since the last round of consultation.

On behalf of ICICH and its Charter Working Group, I would like to thank ICOMOS members and Committees for the many, thoughtful and constructive comments received.
