Agenda item 6-3 Election of the President, Secretary General and Treasurer (Round 1 – majority).

Digital Technologies and Climate Action at the 4th Huangshan Dialogue on UNESCO-Designated Sites

Picture DavosAlliance FoundingMembersOn 29 June, the 4th Huangshan Dialogue on UNESCO-Designated Sites and Sustainable Development took place in China. Organised by the Huangshan Municipal Government and the International Centre on Space Technologies for Natural and Cultural Heritage (HIST) under the auspices of UNESCO, the two-day event brought together over 200 participants, including decision-makers, researchers and managers from 10 international organisations and 20 countries.

2023 Advisory Committee by-election

A by-election is organized in order to fill two vacancies arising from recent resignations of Advisory Committee Officers.

Following the call for candidatures issued to National and International Scientific Committees on 24 February 2023 – with a first deadline on 12 March and an extended deadline on 31 March the final candidatures dossiers are provided below

The National Committees will elect one (1) National Committee Officer, the International Sctientific Committees will elect one (1) Scientific Council Officer  and then from among all the Advisory Committee officers who wish to stand (both newly elected and already in place), the Advisory Committee will elect its new President and Vice-President.

Climate Action Working Group - Climate Adaptation Toolkit

Image4Climate Adaptation aims to minimise the adverse consequences of climate change and maximise the opportunities it presents. This toolkit provides an overview of the topic alongside some best-practice examples and suggested actions and activities for ICOMOS National and Scientific Committees. These include increasing knowledge, understanding and capacity, building resilience and preparing for change.
