A long-awaited international scientific conference devoted to exploring the importance of cultural knowledge and heritage in understanding and responding to the climate change challenge concluded on Friday 10 December.
Towards the adoption of a connected approach to considering nature and culture, the Commentary on Nature-Culture Keywords reflects a dialogue between disciplines within the heritage field, and intends to develop a basis for common understanding of relevant terms among cultural and natural heritage professionals.
ICOMOS President Teresa Patrício travelled to Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo to prepare a capacity-building workshop on the elaboration of a general inventory of the country's cultural heritage.
