ICOMOS Info for Members n°2: International Scientific Committees on Industrial Heritage and on Water and Heritage

On recommendation of the ICOMOS Advisory Committee, the ICOMOS Board approved the establishment of an ICOMOS International Scientific Committee on Industrial Heritage (ISCIH). ISCIH is now issuing a call for membership to all members of ICOMOS (deadline on 12 December 2019).

The proposal for an International Scientific Committee (ISC) on Water and Heritage was presented at the 2017 General Assembly in Delhi where the Board of ICOMOS approved the formation of a probationary task force to investigate the formation of an ISC, in accordance with the Eger Xi’an Principles for the International Scientific Committees of ICOMOS.
