ICOMOS Multimedia database project: Questionnaire

It will take you only 10 minutes to help us!

ICOMOS wishes to set up a public multimedia database in order to enhance its existing iconographic collections, but also create a collaborative repository for its members working in the field of cultural heritage conservation.

We would like to learn more about your needs and wishes: please answer our very short questionnaire by June 30th, 2013 and return it to intern-doc@icomos.org

ICOMOS is currently digitizing its 38.000 slides (extracted from the World Heritage dossiers). The second step will be to integrate the obtained files into an online database. In the future, new records will be added regularly by the ICOMOS Documentation Centre (World Heritage properties, donations…). At the same time, ICOMOS intends to set up a platform for collaboration and dissemination where members and experts will be able to upload their own images, photographic reports, documentary films, etc. with the backing of the Documentation Centre.
