The 2025 ICOMOS Aerospace Heritage Conference will highlight the organisation’s role in the advocacy, research, and conservation of aerospace heritage, with a particular focus on lunar heritage.

This event will bring together ICOMOS Aerospace Heritage members and related experts to report on recent initiatives, present current research, and chart the next steps for safeguarding heritage in space. With humanity preparing to return to the Moon, the discussions and outcomes of this conference aim to shape ICOMOS’ position and engagement with lunar heritage and beyond.

The conference will be held in a hybrid format, staggered over three days to ensure accessibility for participants across different time zones, including Asia, Europe, and the Americas. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to join site visits to aerospace heritage locations in California and New Mexico before and after the main conference.
