ICOMOS ready for the UN HLPF 2019 with advocacy kit and side event

IMG 1689ICOMOS is once again ready to participate in the UN High-Level Political Forum, the annual summit held every July at the UN Headquarters in New York City, USA, to review the world's progress on achieving Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals. For the HLPF 2019, we have produced a custom-made publicity kit, featuring a flashdisk with a compilation of doctrinal and policy papers relevant for heritage and the SDGs, to be distributed to participants. All the documents are also available below.

On the occasion of HLPF 2019, where Goals 4 (Education), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), 10 (Inequalities), 16 (Peace and Governance), and 17 (Partnerships) will be under review, ICOMOS is participating with SDG Working Group members from Canada (Fergus Maclaren), Ireland (Peter Cox), Turkey (Ege Yildirim) and the USA (Andrew Potts, Jeff Soule).
