Since more than 200 photos were uploaded to our Photobank in the framework of our Holiday Contest, the deliberations required time.
We have the great pleasure to share with you our prize list, the three most beautiful photographs illustrating a monument, a historic site, a World Heritage property or a heritage professional in the field. Their photographers are our holiday contest winners.
After several years of work and having consulted our members in order to learn about their needs (see e-news No. 91, June 2013), the ICOMOS Documentation Centre is proud to present its latest tool: the ICOMOS collaborative photobank. We thank warmly the Walloon region for their financial support throughout this project.
The official proceedings of the ICOMOS International Symposium "Heritage and Landscape as Human Values" held in 2014 on the occasion of the 18th ICOMOS General Assembly in Florence are now available for purchase in e-book and hardcopy versions.
As the 2016 theme for the ICOMOS International Day on Monuments and Sites celebrated on 18 April is: The Heritage of Sport, ICOMOS Documentation centre edited this special bibliography. It refers to documents and materials available at ICOMOS Documentation Centre. It does not intend to be a comprehensive list of scientific literature on the heritage of sport. Any reference can be consulted or scanned, subject to the limits of copyright legislation.
