Advisory Committee Elections - 2018

During the Advisory Committee meeting taking place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the officers of the Advisory Committee will be elected for the 2018 – 2021 mandate. 

Following the call for candidatures issued to National and International Scientific Committees on 12 July 2018, with a first deadline for 15 September 2018,  the first candidature dossiers received by that deadline are provided below. The final deadline for candidatures is 3 December 2018.

Candidatures so far received (in alphabetical order) : 

Ms Sheridan Burke – Secretary of ISC20C and President of the Advisory Committee (ISC Twentieth Century Heritage) – standing for the post of Officer of the Advisory Committee.

Mr Douglas Comer - President of US/ICOMOS (NC US/ICOMOS) - standing for the post of President of the Advisory Committee (and if not elected President, as Vice President).

Mr Tiong Kian Boon - Honorary Secretary of ICOMOS Malaysia (NC ICOMOS Malaysia) - standing for the post of Officer of the Advisory Committee.

Mr Mikel Landa - President de IIWC (ISC Wood Comittee) and Vice President National Comittee ICOMOS Espagne - standing for the post of President of the Advisory Committee (and if not elected President, as Vice President).

Ms Deirdre McDermott - Member of ICOMOS Ireland and Vice President of the Advisory Committee (NC ICOMOS Ireland) - standing for the post of Officer of the Advisory Committee.

Ms Hae Un Rii - President of PRERICO (ISC PRERICO) - standing for the post of officer of the Advisory Committee.

Mr Christer Gustafsson - Secretary General of ISCEC (ISC ISCEC) - standing for the post of Officer of the Advisory Committee.
