Le porche en mauvais état a été restauré à son état original et une rampe d'accès universel a été élégamment aménagée, s'intégrant parfaitement avec l'archiecture et l'architecture du paysage.

Le design de la rampe a été conçu avec une pente de moins de 5%, ce qui a permi de ne pas avoir recours à une main courante qui aurait gêné visuellement.

Porch restoration and creation of a universal access ramp

180 Waller, Ottawa, Ontario

Project completed in 1996

The porch was in poor condition and was restored to its original appearance. A universal access ramp was elegantly incorporated, integrating fully with the architecture and the landscape.

The design was conceived with a slope of less than 5%, thus eliminating the necessity of building an obstrusive handrail.
