The Aiken-Rhett House was the site of a reception provided by the Historic Charleston Foundation and the US/ICOMOS Board of Trustees in honor of the international roster of speakers and presenters

In addition to the paper sessions, registrants had the option of five different field sessions, such as this tour of the Low Country south of Charleston

privately--owned Auldbrass Plantation,
which was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright
