Santa Fe Reception for US/ICOMOS 2006

Mrs. Roger Park (Bessie) Hanahan of Charleston, South Carolina and Santa Fe, New Mexico hosted a benefit reception in honor of John Fowler, Chairman of US/ICOMOS and Executive Director of the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation.  The reception was co-hosted by Katherine (Kak) Slick, State Historic Preservation Officer of New Mexico and US/ICOMOS Trustee, Ed Crocker, US/ICOMOS Fellow, and James Hare, Executive Director of Cornerstones Community Partnerships in Santa Fe.  The event was held the evening of July 18, 2006 at the Santa Fe home of Ms. Hanahan.

Cornerstones Community Partnerships is a long-standing partner of US/ICOMOS, primarily as annual hosts of a US/ICOMOS International Intern. To expand our activities with Cornerstones, US/ICOMOS is developing plans for a fall 2007 study tour of adobe architecture in New Mexico and northern Mexico and possibly an annual adobe restoration workshop.  Click here for more information on Cornerstones and US/ICOMOS.  Scroll down for scenes from the reception.
