At the 2005 General Assembly in China, ICOMOS ratified the Eger-Xi’an Principles, which adopt a new membership structure for the International Scientific Committees (ISCs), as follows: Expert Member Status (only available to International Members of US/ICOMOS)
Entry-Level Membership (only available to International Members of US/ICOMOS)
Application Procedures In order to coordinate the membership of US/ICOMOS and the ISCs, International members should
US/ICOMOS will keep one copy of your CV in our files and will send one to the chair of the respective ISCs. International members may apply for membership in any number of International Scientific Committees, however please note that active participation is required to maintain Expert Membership Status. National Affiliate and Student members Since National Affiliate and Student members are only members of US/ICOMOS and not ICOMOS, you may indicate your area(s) of expertise or interest by marking the respective ISCs on the front, but with the understanding that your names will not be submitted to the ISC for consideration for Expert or Entry Level membership. US/ICOMOS will use these selections to determine the US/ICOMOS Specialized Committees and interest groups. |
