2006 US/ICOMOS International Interns

In August, the US/ICOMOS International Interns reconvened in Washington, DC for the final program and reception (scroll down for photos).  The 2006 intern program includes interns from and internships in Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Ghana, India, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Turkey, United Kingdom, and the United States.

During the final program, the interns put together Powerpoint presentations on their infernships, visited with the National Park Service Heritage Documentation Services division and the National Register of Historic Places.  The interns also heard presentations from Arlene Fleming, Cultural Resource Consultant to the World Bank, and Connie Ramirez and Richard Waldbauer of the Federal Preservation Institute.

On Thursday evening, August 24, US/ICOMOS hosted a reception in honor of the interns at the National Trust for Historic Preservation in Washington, DC (scroll down for photos).
