| Matt Crawford's internship consisted of two parts. During the first six weeks he was hosted by the Academia Istropolitana Nova in the Built Heritage/Architectural Program, where he attended lectures and a week-long workshop devoted to a preservation plan for an ensemble of vernacular wooden churches in rural northeast Slovakia. During the second half of the internship, he documented the town's Jewish cemetery, which dates from the late 19th through the early 20th century. |
