Emmeline Henderson's internship consisted of several projects with office responsible for the 430 historic buildings owned by the U.S. Federal Government. Working in the Center for Historic Buildings, Office of Chief Architect, of the General Services Administration, Emmeline first compared the GSA's Technical Procedures database with their counterpart specifications for Canada. She also assisted with the development of brochures about GSA buildings through the Public Buildings Heritage Program, the first of which will be published in 2004. Emmeline then had the opportunity to assist with the compilation of information necessary for nomination of selected GSA historic buildings to the National Register of Historic Places, |
