The U.S. National Committee of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (US/ICOMOS) fosters heritage conservation and historic preservation at the national and international levels through education and training, international exchange of people and information, technical assistance, documentation, advocacy and other activities consistent with the goals of ICOMOS and through collaboration with other organizations. US/ICOMOS membership includes professionals, practitioners, supporters and organizations committed to the protection, preservation and conservation of the world's cultural heritage. US/ICOMOS is the U.S. National Committee of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), the international non-governmental organization dedicated to the preservation and conservation of the world's cultural heritage.

El comité de los Estados Unidos del Consejo Internacional de Monumentos y Sitios (US/ICOMOS) fomenta la conservación del patrimonio a nivel nacional e internacional mediante la formación y el entrenamiento; los intercambios internacionales de personas e información; la asistencia técnica; la documentación, militancia y otras actividades consistentes con los objetivos del ICOMOS; y a través de la colaboración con otras organizaciones afines.La membresía de US/ICOMOS incluye a profesionales, técnicos, organizaciones y todos aquellos que están comprometidos con la protección, conservación y el buen manejo del patrimonio cultural de toda la humanidad.
