He has taught planning courses at Université de Montréal, the Technical University of Nova Scotia, McGill University and the Academia Istropolitana in Slovakia. He has lectured at twenty- three universities and served on assignments in fourteen countries. He has received an award from the International Association of Business Communicators, and a National Heritage Award from the Government of Canada.
