19e Assemblée générale triennale - Delhi 2017
En 2017, la 19e Assemblée générale triennale et le Comité consultatif annuel auront lieu du 19 au 25 novembre 2017 (dates provisoires) à Delhi, à l'invitation d'ICOMOS Inde.
À cette occasion un Symposium scientifique international sur le thème « Patrimoine et Démocratie » (titre provisoire) sera organisé.

ICOMOS 50th anniversary – Logo for your events
In 2015, ICOMOS will celebrate its 50th anniversary. All Committees and members are invited to organise events to make this a memorable jubilee!
Accreditation of events and logo
The International Secretariat has designed an official 50th anniversary logo which must be used by all accredited events in order to ensure a consistent visual identity for this world-wide celebration. ICOMOS Committees may adapt the logo to include the name of their country or Committee.
Please consult the Principles for event patronage (Word document) to ensure that your event is officially accredited by ICOMOS and that you have permission to use the logo. Members must also liaise with their National and International Scientific Committee before making a proposal for an event accreditation to the ICOMOS International Secretariat.

The International Secretariat will maintain a dedicated webpage with the agenda of all scheduled events. Once your event has been granted official ICOMOS patronage, please write to secretariat[at]icomos.org using the format below (please use short sentences to enable a concise presentation) so that we can publicize your event:

EU primary legislation
The organs of the EU have only those competencies which have been attributed to them in the treaties (the principle of attributed powers). The regulatory capacities of the European Union are currently limited to the development of supportive measures:
Article 167 (ex 151 and 128) - Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. "…the European Parliament and the Council acting in accordance with the ordinary legislative procedure and after consulting the Committee of the Regions, shall adopt incentive measures, excluding any harmonisation of the laws and regulations of the Member States…"
Article 36 (ex 95) - Treaty on the European Union - This articles opens for Member States to have other rules than those that follow from a directive, where this is necessary to preserve for example national treasures of (amongst others) historic values.
