Checking in with a laureate of the Raymond Lemaire Fund, Ms Paule-Clisthène Dassi Koudjou

Ms Dassi Koudjou Raymond Lemaire laureate 2015On 19 July, the ICOMOS International Secretariat received the visit of Ms Paule-Clisthène Dassi Koudjou, 2015 Laureate of a Raymond Lemaire Scholarship and now also ICOMOS member.

Ms Dassi Koudjou used her scholarship to attend a 2-month internship at the French Institut national du patrimoine in Paris, where she spent time with different departments including conservation, restoration and museology. Ms Dassi Koudjou has now returned to Cameroun to continue in her position as the volunteer manager of the Case patrimoniale (Community museum) of the Batoufam Chiefdom since 2013. In this capacity, she is supervising the restauration of the “Grande case du peuple” symbol of the autonomy of the Batoufam.
